This privacy policy applies to the Dama War app (iOS) developed by Oğuz GÜL. Last updated: February 2026.

Data We Collect

We collect no personal data.

Dama War does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. No account registration is required. No name, email, or phone number is ever asked.

Computer Opponent ("AI" Game Mode)

Dama War includes "vs Computer" game modes (labeled Easy and Hard). The computer opponent is powered by a classical minimax algorithm built entirely into the app.

Runs 100% on your device — no internet connection required
Does not connect to any AI service, machine learning API, or external server
Does not send any game data, moves, or information anywhere
Is a standard game-tree search algorithm (the same technique used in chess programs since the 1950s)
No data is collected or transmitted during computer-opponent games

Online Multiplayer

When you use the Online Multiplayer feature, the app establishes a direct peer-to-peer (P2P) connection with another device using PeerJS / WebRTC technology.

Game moves are sent directly between devices — not to any server
A temporary connection broker (peerjs.com) helps establish the connection
No game data, chat, or personal information is stored on any server
Room codes are random, temporary, and expire when the game ends

No External AI or Machine Learning Services

The computer opponent does not use any external service.

The "vs Computer" game modes are powered by a classical minimax algorithm compiled directly into the app binary. This algorithm runs entirely on-device, requires no internet access, and does not communicate with any AI API, machine learning service, or third-party server. No data of any kind is sent or received during computer-opponent games.

Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party service:

PeerJS (peerjs.com)
Used solely to broker peer-to-peer WebRTC connections for online play. PeerJS may log connection metadata (IP addresses) according to their own privacy policy. Visit: peerjs.com

Cookies & Tracking

Dama War does not use cookies, analytics, advertising SDKs, or any form of user tracking.

Children's Privacy

This app is suitable for all ages (rated 4+). We do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.

Data Storage

All game data (scores, board state) exists only in the device's memory during gameplay and is not persisted or uploaded anywhere.
